Misty was born in Oklahoma and raised in Texas. She attended Baylor University, a nationally ranked Christian University located in Waco, Texas, and graduated in 1999. Misty spent most of her adult life living in Southern California where she built a successful mortgage practice and raised her two kids. Now, Misty has added Idaho and Montana to her journey.
Misty has always loved the challenge of puzzles. Living in these very different states created a well-rounded approach to life as each place presented a unique situation that needed a custom solution to allow Misty to succeed.
In her two decades of experience in the financial lending sector, Misty learned that the best planning comes years before people need to make that big decision, whatever that financial decision may be. The specific plans Misty creates for her clients ensure they have the most comprehensive information and options available to them when the time comes to decide. Misty’s goal is financial guidance to help build generational wealth, create a life her clients love, and leave a legacy they are proud of; not just hit a number in their bank account.
Misty’s southern roots of hospitality and friendliness allow her to connect deeply with people. She derives immense joy from helping her clients, many who have become friends, with advice on how to protect their hard-earned money, help grow and expand that money, and create a stable financial future. These connections develop generations of friends that Misty advises from the beginning as a growing a family, starting a new business, and all the way through flourishing retirement.
Three of Misty’s biggest passions are assisting women on their journey to success, helping business owners utilize tools and tax strategies they didn’t know existed, and watching retirees live prosperously. All of this takes a profound level of commitment to gain the knowledge needed and a deep desire to educate each and every different client, so they reach their financial goals, feeling safe and secure in the financial plan they build together.
Misty enjoys travel, experiencing new places and things, and singing as a Worship Leader in her church. She loves spending time with her husband, their children and with family and friends as much as possible.
